To facilitate the migration of an existing mailbox to Mailix, we offer automatic synchronization of external IMAP mailboxes.

Such a synchronization transfers the content (messages) of an external IMAP mailbox to your active mailbox at Mailix.

You can use this feature once to transfer existing messages from external mailboxes to Mailix or use it permanently, for example, if you have an external mailbox somewhere else that you do not want to check separately, but from which you want to have all new incoming messages transferred to your Mailix mailbox.

A mailbox synchronization can be set up in the Mailix UI by the domain administrator for each mailbox he has set up in the domain or by each mailbox owner for his mailbox.
