2FA

What is 2FA?

2FA (two-factor authentication) refers to the proof of identity of a user by means of a combination of two different and, in particular, independent components (factors).

Typical examples are bank card and PIN at ATMs, fingerprint and access code in buildings, or passphrase and transaction number (TAN) in online banking. Two-factor authentication is a special case of multi-factor authentication.

Mailix supports 2FA for accessing the Mailix UI as a domain administrator.
